The powerful electric motor allows you to shred large quantities of waste. The clippings are conveniently fed in via the low-noise feed hopper and then conveyed further by the cutting tool with minimal recoil. The STIHL GHE 250 can also shred large quantities of waste. The large, inclined feed hopper makes it easy to shred branchy branches up to 30 mm thick. The integrated splash guard prevents particles from flying away. The sandwich blade system of the electric shredder efficiently shreds even the thickest branches into fine chips. You can then use the shredded material as valuable garden waste for composting. The rich fertilizer obtained in this way is ideal for your entire garden.

The shredder can be operated intuitively using the membrane switches integrated in the housing. Thanks to the wide chassis with transport wheels, you can easily move the electric shredder to the next place of use. As an option, you can use the robust 50-liter STIHL AHB 050 shredding container to collect the shredded cuttings directly under the STIHL GHE 250. The electromagnetic safety cut-out prevents the machine from starting up automatically during maintenance work or when changing blades.
