The powerful yet handy STIHL TSA 230 cordless cut-off saw is ideal for professional applications in gardening and landscaping, path construction, roofing and interior work as well as for versatile applications in building construction and civil engineering. Thanks to its well-balanced, compact design, low weight and high performance, you can make short cuts on building and laying stones, cut building materials to size, cut reinforcing steel and metal profiles to length and cut metal and composite materials with high precision, even in confined spaces.

With the 230 mm cutting disc of the Motorflex STIHL TSA 230, cutting depths of up to 70 mm are possible. The ergonomic handle of the STIHL TSA 230 provides you with a secure grip and precise guidance when cutting. The brushless, powerful EC motor operates virtually wear-free. Its electronic control always adjusts the power and speed optimally to the material to be cut.

Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230 cordless cut-off saw can also be used indoors, for example in halls. It is particularly important there that any dust generated during cutting is immediately bound. This is ensured by the integrated water connection. Alternatively, you can also reduce the dust load with the optional STIHL depth stop. In this case, the dust produced is taken up directly into a connected wet and dry vacuum cleaner, for example the STIHL SE 133 ME, via an extraction nozzle.

Changing the cutting disc is very simple: All you have to do is press the spindle lock, loosen the retaining screw with a wrench and then tighten it again. Other advantages include the run-out brake, which brakes the cutting blade within a few seconds, and the STIHL magnesium guard with integrated water guide.

All cordless tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional daily use, even under adverse weather conditions. This is why they have tested splash water protection. Their effectiveness is verified by demanding internal tests. The splash water test is based on the IPX4 standard, among others. The STIHL TSA 230 is also suitable for working in the rain.
