Description
The STIHL .325″ Rapid Duro 3 (RD3) saw chain is designed for use under high abrasive loads. It is very robust thanks to the carbide hardfacing that makes up the tooth cutting edge. Even under extreme conditions or in contact with heavily soiled wood, the saw chain retains its high cutting quality. The STIHL 325″ Rapid Duro 3 saw chain remains sharp up to 10 times longer than conventional saw chains without resharpening. This makes it ideal for use in gardening and landscaping.
The Rapid Duro 3 (RD3) saw chain is equipped with a hump drive link with low vibrations and reduced kickback tendency. The thickness of the drive link is 1.6 mm. This allows you to cut even thicker trees and thicker branches safely and easily with your chainsaw.
Carbide saw chains are not sharpened by hand with a round file, but electrically with a sharpening device.
