Description
With the STIHL MS 462 C-M VW petrol chainsaw, forestry work can be carried out quickly even in winter. The weight-optimized petrol chainsaw for forestry work weighs just 6.1 kg in total. It is exceptionally light and defies frosty temperatures thanks to the handle and carburetor heating. The electric handle heater on the professional chainsaw ensures that you have a firm grip on your chainsaw even in cold weather. The electric carburetor heater with temperature-dependent on/off control prevents the carburetor from icing up during winter operation.
The STIHL MS 462 C-M for forestry applications impresses with its powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine and low power-to-weight ratio. The fully electronic STIHL M-Tronic engine management system supports uncomplicated starting and optimum engine performance at all times.
The STIHL MS 462 C-M VW also has other well thought-out features:
- Tool-free fuel filler caps enable quick and easy filling with oil and gasoline.
- Changing the chain is quick and easy thanks to the captive nuts on the sprocket cover.
- For dusty work, the HD2 air filter with radial seal pays off, reliably protecting the engine from fine dust and making it easy to clean with STIHL VarioClean, for example. By combining the HD2 air filter with the pre-separation system, which is also fitted as standard on the MS 462, you have a long-term air filter system.

AWService GmbH was founded in December 2014 by Albert Wörndl, who has been active in the garden equipment industry for more than 30 years. In 2015, our company building at Eisenstraße 4 in St. Marien was constructed and officially opened at the end of June the same year.
Since 2024, our company has been energetically and jointly managed by Alexander & Jürgen Wörndl. In this way, the management has been passed on from Albert Wörndl to the next motivated generation.
