As AWService GmbH, we are committed to making our webshop accessible in accordance with § 15b of the Upper Austrian Anti-Discrimination Act (Directive (EU) 2016/2102).
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://awservice.gmbh/.
AWService GmbH aligns with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) to achieve the highest possible level of accessibility.
The website is partially compliant with § 15b(2) of the Upper Austrian Anti-Discrimination Act in conjunction with § 1 Oö. WEBVO 2020 and Art. 6(2) and (3) of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 (EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)) due to the following inconsistencies and exceptions.
We are actively working to achieve full compliance.
The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons indicated:
a) Incompatibility with Accessibility Requirements
On the homepage, there are two buttons linking to the online shop with the texts “Chainsaws” and “Lawnmowers.” Since the button backgrounds are images, the color contrast ratio is currently too low. The contrast does not meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements, which mandate a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text elements.
Additionally, the header video currently exceeds five seconds in length and cannot be paused. This will also be addressed.
We are aware of these barriers and are already working on adjustments. Improvements are expected to be implemented by the end of 2026.
If you experience difficulties using the website in the meantime, we are happy to provide assistance.
b) Disproportionate Burden
File formats (PDFs) that do not fall under the exception of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 are not fully or only partially accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, making them inaccessible or insufficiently accessible to screen reader users. This does not meet WCAG Success Criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value). Due to the large number of PDF documents, associated costs, and high organizational effort required for revision, we consider this a disproportionate burden under accessibility regulations. We strive to continuously improve new PDF documents to make them accessible or provide alternative text versions.
c) Content Outside the Scope of Applicable Legislation
This website contains links to external websites and embedded third-party content, which are outside the control of the website operator. Since these external contents are provided and managed by independent providers, we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
We endeavor to link to accessible content whenever possible. However, linked external pages or third-party PDF files may not comply with applicable accessibility standards. If you encounter barriers, we recommend contacting the respective operators directly.

The compliance assessment of the website with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) and the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was conducted as a self-assessment based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA in March 2025. The homepage, product overview page, individual product page, and contact page were reviewed. Individual page contents are regularly checked by the web editorial team when new content is published.
