The very powerful FSA 400 cordless brush cutter from the STIHL AP system is ideal for professionals in garden and landscape maintenance, municipal operations and forestry. Whether for green maintenance in noise-sensitive areas, mowing tall grass, clearing wild growth and undergrowth or cutting small trees in young stock maintenance – the STIHL FSA 400 combines ergonomic operation with fast work progress and a high level of operating and working comfort.

With a cutting circle of up to 520 mm and the powerful EC motor, the FSA 400 offers you ideal conditions for efficient green maintenance. The ergonomic two-handed handle (mowing handlebar), specially designed for mowing applications, can be adjusted without tools using the folding clamping device. The 10-point hole bar for attaching the tool and the integrated STIHL anti-vibration system contribute to low-fatigue working. You can set the speed in 3 stages on the ergonomic operating handle to work as efficiently and energy-savingly as possible. The energy-saving mode is indicated by an LED.

In addition to the robust housing, the cordless brushcutter is also equipped with a durable steel drive shaft, an extremely sturdy aluminum protective tube and a gearbox with grease refill screw to ensure a long service life. The air filter with metal grille enables optimum motor cooling and is easy to clean.

For efficient use with STIHL fleet management, the STIHL FSA 400 is already prepared for use with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.

In addition to the STIHL BrushCut 300-3 brush cutter supplied as standard, you can also use the STIHL FSA 400 cordless brushcutter with metal cutting tools from our extensive range of accessories, for example with the STIHL ShredCut 270-2 chipper blade or the STIHL WoodCut, chisel tooth, high-performance saw blade and the matching guards. The STIHL PolyCut 48-2 mowing head with plastic blades is particularly suitable for energy-efficient grass mowing.

All cordless tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use even under adverse weather conditions. They therefore have tested splash water protection. Their effectiveness is proven by demanding internal tests. With the FSA 400 cordless brush cutter, the splash water protection already proven in internal tests has also been certified to IPX4 protection class.
