Description
The 3/8″ Rapid Duro Rescue (RDR) carbide saw chain is used with the STIHL MS 462 C-M R rescue saw by fire departments, rescue services and technical relief organizations. Thanks to the cutting teeth with full-surface hardfacing made of impact-resistant carbide plates , the saw chain even cuts wood with nails, bulletproof glass and composite material.
The special 3/8″ Rapid Duro Rescue (RDR) saw chain with a drive link thickness of 1.6 mm from STIHL is only suitable for rescue saws. As it is a carbide chainsaw chain, it is not resharpened by hand, but with a sharpening device.
