Description
The STIHL MS 261 C-BM professional chainsaw is designed for a wide range of applications. It is particularly well-suited for forestry work in light to medium-density stands. The 3.0 kW (4.1 PS) STIHL 2-MIX engine delivers the power you need while keeping fuel consumption low . This gas-powered chainsaw is equipped with STIHL M-Tronic, allowing you to work quickly and with optimal engine performance at a constant maximum RPM. The starting process is assisted, and the ignition timing and fuel metering are regulated accordingly.
High cutting performance combined with reduced weight is achieved through the STIHL .325″-RS Pro saw chain together with the STIHL Light 04 guide bar. The STIHL quick-tensioning system helps ensure work proceeds with as few interruptions as possible. This allows you to retension the saw chain easily and safely as needed , without tools.
The STIHL Ematic system ensures that every drop of oil is directed precisely where it’s needed. This allows you to maintain performance over the long term with minimal interruptions. In addition, the long-life air filter system with pre-separation and the HD2 air filter extend the operating time. These features ensure longer maintenance intervals.
