Description
The STIHL MS 462 C-M is a very lightweight professional chainsaw in the 70 cm3 cubic capacity class. This makes it a particularly efficient support for work in the forest, for foresters, in landscaping and horticulture as well as in agriculture. The output of 4.4 kW (6 hp) is ideal for felling and delimbing medium and heavy tree stands.
Thanks to its weight-optimized components, it weighs just 6.0 kg and is therefore extremely manoeuvrable. Because every gram of weight counts in demanding work. It also accelerates quickly and runs at a constant maximum speed.
The STIHL MS 462 C-M forestry chainsaw impresses with its powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine and low power-to-weight ratio. The fully electronic STIHL M-Tronic engine management system ensures uncomplicated starting and optimum engine performance at all times. Other well thought-out features of the petrol chainsaw:
- Tool-free tank caps enable quick and easy filling with oil and gasoline.
- Changing the chain is quick and easy thanks to the captive nuts on the sprocket cover.
- For dusty work, the HD2 air filter with radial seal pays off, reliably protecting the engine from fine dust and making it easy to clean with STIHL VarioClean, for example. By combining the HD2 air filter with the pre-separation system, which is also fitted as standard on the MS 462, you have a long-term air filter system.

AWService GmbH was founded in December 2014 by Albert Wörndl, who has been active in the garden equipment industry for more than 30 years. In 2015, our company building at Eisenstraße 4 in St. Marien was constructed and officially opened at the end of June the same year.
Since 2024, our company has been energetically and jointly managed by Alexander & Jürgen Wörndl. In this way, the management has been passed on from Albert Wörndl to the next motivated generation.
