Description
STIHL felling and splitting wedges made of aluminum are effective tools for tree felling work. They are driven into the trunk after cutting with your chainsaw, for example the STIHL MS 362 chainsaw, and thus help the tree to fall in the desired direction. The wedges are made of high-quality aluminum alloy and have a narrow cutting edge that makes it much easier to drive them into the wood. At the same time, retaining scales prevent the wedges from springing back unintentionally. The wedges have a smooth wedge side next to the guide ridge so that a second wedge can be easily inserted into the felling cut during felling.
STIHL aluminum felling and splitting wedges are available in three weights and lengths for small, medium and large trunk diameters:
- Splitting wedge (art. no. 00008812222) with 600 g and 22 cm length
- Splitting wedge (art. no. 00008812223) with 800 g and 24 cm length
- Splitting wedge (art. no. 00008812224) with 1,000 g and 26 cm length
STIHL felling and splitting wedges made of aluminum have been awarded the KWF-Profi test mark by the Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e.V. (Board of Trustees for Forestry Work and Technology).

AWService GmbH was founded in December 2014 by Albert Wörndl, who has been active in the garden equipment industry for more than 30 years. In 2015, our company building at Eisenstraße 4 in St. Marien was constructed and officially opened at the end of June the same year.
