Description
The extremely powerful, robust STIHL HSA 140 R cordless hedge trimmer handles demanding jobs in professional garden and landscape maintenance as well as in municipal operations. Thanks to the low blade speed and the double-sided ground blade in the back-cut version with wider tooth spacing, even thicker branches and twigs are cut efficiently with a constant stroke rate. The EC motor ensures consistent performance and a long service life. You can adjust the stroke rate in 3 stages from 2,600 strokes/minute to 3,400 strokes/minute directly on the rotating multifunction handle.
The STIHL HSA 140 R cordless hedge trimmer can be used extremely flexibly with its plug-in lithium-ion battery from the STIHL AP system. Its low noise and vibration values make it possible to trim hedges without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas. The multifunction handle, which can be rotated 90° to the right and left, always supports an ergonomically favorable working position when cutting in different directions. Friction-optimized blades enable a longer battery life and increased service life. The screwed-on cutting and guide guards protect you and the cutting set.
It is prepared for use with the optionally available STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.
All cordless tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use even under adverse weather conditions. They therefore have tested splash water protection. Their effectiveness is verified by demanding internal tests. The splash water test is based on the IPX4 standard, among others.
In the case of the STIHL HSA 140 R, the splash water protection already proven in internal tests has also been certified to IPX4 protection class.
