Husqvarna Automower 405VE NERA – a cordless robotic lawnmower with many innovative features designed for perfect results on lawns up to 900 m². The EdgeCut function keeps lawn edges tidy and minimizes the time and effort required for trimming. With virtual boundaries made possible by the integrated satellite-based technology, the installation is flexible and robust.

Requirements:
-Mobile or Wi-Fi internet coverage across the entire lawn. If you do not have an internet connection, you can purchase the Husqvarna EPOS RS1 reference station separately.
– The Automower Connect app. Available for free in the AppStore and Google Play.

It all starts with the Automower Connect app, which allows you to set up individual and customizable work areas and temporary prohibited areas. These can later be easily adapted to garden projects or changes in lawn design throughout the season.

The built-in camera uses advanced AI to detect and identify objects on the lawn and reacts accordingly based on the type of object. Thanks to the infrared light, the lawn mower avoids obstacles, takes wildlife into consideration and ensures that the entire area is mowed – even at night. The combination of AI image processing technology* and satellite navigation ensures complete coverage of all mowing areas, even in areas with weak satellite signals. *The camera images used for object detection are only processed locally in the mower and are neither stored nor transmitted.

The selectable mowing pattern feature allows you to choose between a systematic striped, checkerboard or triangular pattern on your lawn, giving you an area capacity of 900 m². Or for a carpet-like finish, select the irregular pattern mode, which ensures an area capacity of 600 m².

How does satellite technology work?
For centimeter-accurate localization, the mower requires correction data, which is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional cost. This requires cellular or Wi-Fi coverage over the entire lawn and provides excellent positioning accuracy, usually better than 5 cm. If you do not have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, you can purchase the Husqvarna EPOS RS1 reference station as an additional accessory. It is a stand-alone solution that does not require an internet connection and offers even higher positioning accuracy of the mower (approx. 2-3 cm).
