Description
With the Service Kit 24 for STIHL petrol brushcutters, you can carry out simple maintenance work on your power tool yourself. This proactive and regular standard maintenance, such as replacing the air and fuel filters and the spark plug, increases the service life of your STIHL power tool. In this way, you help to ensure that machine components and parts are protected from dirt and damage and that the engine of your machine always works reliably and at optimum performance.
The STIHL Service Kit 24 for FS 38 and FS 55 contains the following components for standard maintenance:
- Fleece air filter
- spark plug
- Fuel filter
The STIHL fleece filter offers good filter quality under different operating conditions. Coarse dirt particles are trapped on the surface, while fine dirt particles are retained inside the filter. This reliably protects the engine of your STIHL machine from the ingress of abrasive dust. Performance is maintained, fuel consumption is low and you can continue to start your machine with the usual ease.
To maintain performance, it is also advisable to replace the spark plug regularly. This is the basis for clean combustion in the engine. The fuel filter keeps the fuel free of foreign particles before it enters the engine. In this way, it protects the engine and ensures improved longevity. It also needs to be replaced regularly in order to function reliably.
To replace the air filter and spark plug, it is best to use the practical combination wrench that you have already received with your STIHL power tool. A cardboard hook is integrated into the packaging of the service kit itself. This allows you to easily remove and replace the fuel filter. You do not need any additional tools.
