STIHL power tiller MH 585

The robust design of the STIHL MH 585 rotary tiller makes it a durable power tiller for hobby, landscape and vegetable gardeners as well as for farmers for longer periods of use in beds or fields. As a special feature, the MH 585 garden tiller has a divisible hoe set to reduce the working width. This allows you to use a working width of 85 cm or 60 cm as required. Even narrower crops can be cultivated efficiently and gently in this way. The motorized tiller is powered by an OHV engine with an easy-start system. The reverse gear makes maneuvering and reversing easier. For greater flexibility, the MH 585 power tiller can also be retrofitted with a ridging body – either the STIHL AHK 701 variable ridging body or the STIHL AHK 702 fixed ridging body – for creating furrows and with STIHL AM 031 iron wheels.The integrated STIHL anti-vibration system ensures significantly greater comfort when using the STIHL MH 585 tiller, as it reduces vibrations on the height-adjustable and laterally adjustable handlebar. The special shape of the chipper blades also saves power and ensures that the tiller cuts into the soil rather than chopping when digging. At the same time, you can easily adjust the speed with your thumb while working. The triple-adjustable brake spur on the STIHL MH 585 rotary tiller keeps it on track while driving. When the work is done, the motorized hoe can be easily brought into the cleaning position and moved thanks to the fold-out transport wheels.
